A Outline of the Novel'The Green Mile'.

Any outline of the novel The Green Mile by Stephen King has to incorporate a bit about the famous horror author, himself. He released this novel in 1996 as a serial novel, and the 1st edition really came out in 6 little, paperbacks, which were later on made into one novel. The Green Mile of the title is the corridor between the cells of the cell block that leads to the execution room. The tale follows John Coffey, a giant, black inmate found guilty of raping and slaughtering 2 young white girls, and the other 2 inmates on death row, with the guards who watch over them.

Coffey is special, as Paul uncovers, and he has enchanting healing capabilities that become apparent. He befriends a little white mouse, who he names Mr Coffey transfers this brain illness to Wetmore, the inhuman guard who the inmates and staff detest.

Wetmore never recovers and spends the remainder of his life in a psychological establishment. Coffey doesn't wish to be pardoned, and dies in the electrical chair as he can't bear the cruelties of real life. After his demise, Paul unearths that each one of the folk Coffey has healed live strikingly long lives.
